I am good at baking and sketching.
When I bake I feel good because I want to like my baking. When I sketch I feel relaxed.
If people woudn't let me do the things I'm good at I would be very angry and I would want to argue until I get my way

Chapter 1
1. What problems or conflicts are presented in chapter one? Tao needing to find a rabbit is an obvious one; identify at least two more.
2. Predict the resolution of each conflict. Example:
conflict: Tayo needs to find a rabbit.
predicted resolution: He will find the one he lost.
The conflict of the story is that Tao likes to draw but his tribe won't let him because drawing is a taboo in there land. The tribe leader thinks as Tao as a boy that has his head in the clouds.I think that Tao will be able to draw and one day he will be the hero and the chief wouldn't think of him that way anymore.

What two important events happen in this chapter?
Two important events that happened in the story is that Tao could not find the rabbit and the tribe chief told him he could not come back until he got that rabbit. He made a little bed of straw because he could not find it. He saw the little wolf again and he said "your demon of pain is gone. Now you can eat." The wolf got up and went back to his pack to hunt now that he is heeled. Tao felt sad because he was alone.

Tao and Ram learned to hunt together. The decision Tao told Volt is that he will go with the wolf dog and hunt alone.
Tao how could you hunt with this wolf demon. In this camp wolf dogs are demon spirits. If you hunt with evil wolfs then go,go live with the mountain people. You are a shame to our tribe.Go! Go!

Tao's mother was sixteen when she had him. She was creative and liked art. She would gather flowers from the fields and use shells from oceans to make necklaces for everyone. Everyone loved her gifts because they came from her heart. Then she died. It was tragic. Sense Tao was a baby he was very creative too. He loved to watch the clouds change shape and watch the birds fly across the sky. He loves to draw on cave walls. " I am sure she gave you the eyes to see beauty in the things around you,the animals ,the trees,the mountains."

The two animals that Tao tried to draw was a horse and Ram.

The two taboos that Tao has broken was painting and hunting with Ram the wolf dog. The taboo that he does not know about yet is that Tao goes hunting in the Slough, where the bad thing happened. The aspects that Graybeard was acknowledging was that he is a good man, but too often he dreams of spirits and demons.

I agree with graybeard and I also don't. I agree because he is part of his clan whether he likes it or not. If that means not painting then he shouldn't.
I disagree with graybeard because Tao loves to paint and if that is what he wants,then he should. Mabe Tao could make a difference in his clan.
What graybeard said was true in those times,but now people could draw when we like.
Chapter 8
An important theme in this novel is that people should follow their dreams and do what they believe is right, even if they don't follow their society's expected ways.
The author examines this theme in a stone age setting. Imagine a similar situation today, where a person's desires go against society's expectations

What I did was think about my book called Twilight. I didn't really imagine it. It is about a regular girl named Bella and falls in love with a boy named Edward. But then she realizes that he is not like everyone else. He saved Bella from getting run over by a van in parking lot. He smashed a dent right into the side of it with his hand. Edward is a vampire. He doesn't eat people;he eats animals. They fall deeply in love with each other. Im writing this because no one would think of loving a vampire. It is too dangerous. But they don't care.

I think Graybeard changed his mind because he thought Tao was good and he knows that Tao loves to draw and paint. He wants to show Tao the ways of painting.

Some of the ingredients used to make paint was crushed rocks that are different colors and fish oil. What surprised me the most was the fish oil because why did they need to use that. Why can't they just use water instead of stinky fish oil.
Tao was afraid at the end of the chapter because as Graybeard walked away Tao could hear a scratchy cough from his old friend. He was scared for his friend.

I predict that that Volt the leader will get really mad at Tao because he is hunting with Ram. The leaders have not yet seen Tao with the wolf dog a it will be a big shock.
